Meditation is a wellness practice that has been around for thousands of years. One of the best things about meditation is that you can meditate pretty much anywhere! It involves focusing on the breath and improving concentration and awareness with the goal of ultimately paying attention to your own mind without judging your thoughts or feelings. A simple process to meditate includes sitting in a quiet comfortable space, taking deep breaths, and allowing thoughts to come and go as you continue to bring your focus back to your breath.

    • Curb Emotional Reactions: In high-stress situations, it’s natural to feel intense emotions as you’re clamoring to get things done on time. Meditation allows you to focus more on the task at hand and not be derailed by emotional fluctuations.
